I will take this off my list of recommended spots in the city. When it was time for the bill I went to the host stand to get it because our waitress was no where to be found. I ordered the burger which came with fries and salad except they NEVER BROUGHT THE SALAD I PAID FOR and the fries were COLD, not even luke-warm. There was no attempt at service recovery and no apology for not having our drinks that were ordered when we were seated even after we finished our meal. I probably would have had a drink in 5 minutes if I had ordered myself. I walked into the bar and I can say the bar was not half as busy as I've seen it. Our waitress showed up and asked how everything was and we said we never got our drinks, we no longer wanted them (it had been 40 MINUTES SINCE ORDERING). Well we finished eating and DRINKS NEVER CAME. When our food arrived we asked the person who brought our food (not our waitress) if he could check on our drinks. Came here for brunch and ordered drinks and food. It was a fun 6 years that I've enjoyed Oscar Wilde but I will not be returning. His music was amazing and we loved every song. OH ACTUALLY there was also a DJ playing (10/16/22 during Sunday brunch) and he was SO GOOD. Overall a cool place to go if you're in the city for a short stay. Add to that she didn't run our food and mine was missing a the bread for my burrata for about 10 minutes after food delivery and I eventually caught eyes with who I assume was the manager checking around (he was LOVELY and attentive and the food runners and water people were as well) and he got it for me quickly and our server came back 10 minutes after THAT. I'm assuming she was really busy which I totally get but like any engagement outside of "what do you want" would have been nice. Our server was pretty bland for what they served us in ambiance. Service 6/10- Hostess was fine, a little confused at times but not much of a wait so that was fine. They know what they are doing and they are so so so good at it.įood 9/10- Food was really good I got one dish but tried some friends and everyone around me had food that I wanted to eat. Our landlord has always been remarkable with us.Ambiance 15/10- the decor and ambiance is clearly what sets this place apart.
